Our baked goods are made the old-fashioned way, from scratch in our modest kitchen. We use simple ingredients and celebrate seasonal produce by using fresh local fruits, vegetables and herbs from Ohio farmers.
Hearth is the pursuit of a lifelong love of baking for Sarah Riggle. She grew up baking biscuits and gathering rhubarb with her grandparents on visits to Wisconsin, and learned cake decorating from her Ohio grandmother. Sarah earned her B.F.A. in glass at The Ohio State University and enjoyed a 10-year career working in non-profit arts organizations, but found herself baking as a creative outlet. Hearth is where the discipline of craftsmanship, a reverence for seasonal produce and humble ingredients, and a tolerance for high heat intersect in a culmination of artistry and flour.
